I was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan. After graduating I went to work for the family
business “The Butcher Shop” it was a wholesale - retail meat processing plant located on
Willow Hwy in Lansing. I enjoyed working with my father for over 25 years. He sold the
business in 1998.
I decided to enter the mortgage trade. My first job was at a very large company selling
very unique high risk mortgage programs. Then I was educated in conforming Mortgages
at my next job at GMAC Mortgage.
I enjoyed the small company feeling and service our family business offered, so I decided
to obtain my own Michigan Mortgage Broker License in 2000. That’s when I started
HomeLoans. I figured I could build a business like my father, by being honest, and
treating people fairly. Sell a good product at a fair price.
Today my business grows by Customer, Realtor, Attorney and Financial Planner referrals.
